The final day of Streetfishing Masters EUROPE 2026 concluded today in Oradea, Romania, with local duo Team Hardshop – Iulian Tîrnăcop and Attila Kerekes – crowned the new Streetfishing Masters EUROPE champions.
The Romanian pair delivered a dominant performance, finishing 1st on both competition days and recording a perfect final score of just 2 ranking points. Their consistency across the two different competition sectors secured the title and the tournament’s €10,000 grand prize.
Second place went to Ukrainian duo KingBass – Maksym Korol and Mykyta Bass, who finished with only 3 ranking points, while Latvian team Frapp-Zetrix – Gatis Mālmeisters and Vilmārs Kaminskis completed the podium with 7 points.
The two-day competition took place on September 5–6 in Oradea, bringing the Streetfishing Masters EUROPE format to Romania for the first time and turning the urban waters of the Crișul Repede River into an international streetfishing arena.
The tournament featured 42 teams / 84 anglers, competing in pairs and representing nine countries. Each team fished both competition sectors over two six-hour sessions, testing the anglers’ ability to adapt to different water, fish and urban conditions. The official format allows the best perch, chub, pike and other eligible species to contribute towards the result.

The €20,000 prize fund was distributed among the Top 10 teams, with €10,000 going to the champions, €4,000 to second place and €3,000 to third.
The final standings also showed just how tight the competition was behind the winners. Frapp-Zetrix, Urban Fishing Latvia and Evergreen International all finished with seven ranking points, while three more teams shared 12 points from eighth to tenth place.
Team Hardshop, however, left no room for debate at the top. First place on Day 1 and first place on Day 2 gave the Romanian pair the only perfect score of the tournament.
KingBass also produced an exceptionally consistent performance, finishing second on Day 1 and first in their Day 2 ranking, while Frapp-Zetrix secured the final podium position after combining second and fifth-place finishes.
TWO DAYS, TWO SECTORS, ONE CHAMPION
The competition area in Oradea was divided into two sectors, with every team fishing one sector on the first day and the other on Day 2. The 2026 scoring format included the five largest perch, two largest chub, two largest pike and three largest eligible fish of other species per pair. Fishing was exclusively from the shore and only artificial lures were permitted.
For 2026, Streetfishing Masters EUROPE moved from the canals of Zwolle in the Netherlands to the heart of Oradea, continuing the event’s concept of bringing high-level competitive streetfishing to different European cities. The previous edition in Zwolle was won by Team Gunki Belgium.

After two editions in two very different European urban fisheries — Zwolle in 2025 and Oradea in 2026 — Streetfishing Masters EUROPE will continue its rotating-city concept.
